Part 2: Disruptions in life may be negative, or positive. Knowing the history of how the U.S. and other countries were colonized after the Pope's 1493 Doctrine of Discovery is a positive disruption for the U.S. today. The Doctrine of Discovery gave legal license to white, Christian, European explorers and settlers to seize the lands of the indigenous people and enslave them along with Blacks who were trafficked to the U.S. from Africa.
